Experience the Perseid Meteor Shower

Tangerine Dream, ESG, Laraaji, Steve Roach + more

Every August, the Perseid Meteor Shower draws stargazers from around the world to witness one of nature's most spectacular annual displays.

This year is especially remarkable.

The peak of the Perseids coincides with the new moon, creating exceptionally dark skies and ideal viewing conditions that only occur every few years.

But there's another reason: truly dark skies are disappearing — light pollution and the rapidly growing number of satellites in orbit are forever changing how we experience stars.

Two nights - Multiple locations - 70 Degree evening temps.

Dance late at Red Dog Saloon, catch science and space talks at the Motel's Speakeasy, or sink into ambient under-the-stars sets at Desert Willow Ranch, all within walking distance.

Telescopes are set up all night, with late-night screenings of Welcome Space Brothers and The Arrival on Friday.

Listen to the Night Sky

Every artist has been thoughtfully selected to deepen the experience of gathering beneath the stars.

Some have spent decades exploring the cosmos through sound. Others were chosen because their music transforms the experience of being outdoors after dark. Together, they create the soundtrack for one extraordinary weekend beneath the Perseid Meteor Shower.
